Encryption in Transit and at Rest

Every data exchange between your device and 4vedas.net travels over TLS 1.3 encryption. Stored records — including payment identifiers like your UPI handle — are encrypted at rest using AES-256, so raw data is never exposed even internally.

Cookie Policy and Control

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and analytics cookies to understand page performance. You can review and withdraw cookie consent at any time from the Cookie Settings panel without affecting your ability to use the account.

Account Access Logs

Every login to your account is time-stamped and device-flagged. You can view a rolling 30-day access log in Account Settings; if you spot an unfamiliar session, you can terminate it immediately and we will flag it for security review.

Data Retention Schedule

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active and for the period required by Indian financial regulations after closure. Once the retention window closes, records are deleted from live systems and purged from backups within 90 days.

Third-Party Processor Agreements

Payment processors handling your UPI, Paytm and PhonePe transactions are bound by data-processing agreements that prohibit them from using your financial identifiers for any purpose beyond completing the transaction you authorised.

Right to Erasure and Portability

You may request deletion of your personal data or a portable copy in a common format (CSV or JSON) at any time via the privacy request form. We process erasure requests within 30 days, subject to any legal hold obligations under applicable Indian law.
